It’s official, Integrated Marketing launches March 15!

After many collaborative team sessions and a great deal of hard work and enlightening research, we are excited to announce the official launch of UNCG’s Integrated Marketing & Strategic Communication initiative! March 15 is our official launch date.

What should you expect? Glad you asked.Across campus, expect to see a variety of new items (produced mostly in house) that will reflect the new creative including photography and our tagline. We also plan to host a kick off party in the EUC and the famous campus ‘Rawk’ will be painted by the African Student Union. An official launch announcement will be shared via campus email as well as stories appearing in Campus Weekly and the Carolinian.

But wait, there’s more. A comprehensive web site packed with tools, guidelines and information will help units learn how the marketing can work with their own communication materials. And what’s learning without a little fun? We are also creating a YouTube page for students, faculty, staff and alumni to upload their own video clips that will give the marketing a face – or in this case – many faces!

We are very excited to share the launch of the IMSC initiative with the UNCG family first…so don’t expect to see an outward advertising campaign. Not only do we want to be ever mindful of budget restrictions, the committee also thinks it best to have the campus experience the new marketing first. This is your campaign and a collective, cohesive expression designed to leverage UNCG’s identity and advance our individual and university-wide goals. So get ready, it’s time to leap into something new……. and we can’t wait to share it with you!
