The IMSC Committee has been making the transition to our next phase of work – building the foundation for adoption and training. Messaging, competitive analysis and research audits have been conducted. Consistent perceptions about UNCG have been identified. UNCG’s positioning and brand personality have been examined.

Now we must begin the process of learning how our colleagues go about the task of producing communication materials and what they need and expect in terms of marketing and communication support.

The Adoption & Training Subcommittee, chaired by Lyda Adams Carpen and Sarah Carrigan, will soon form focus groups of those currently responsible producing for marketing and communication materials. We hope to glean a better understanding of how they produce their communication materials and what resources would be most helpful to them. We also believe their insight will inform our continued IMSC efforts as we plan to build a comprehensive resource website and training programs.

The IMSC co-chairs are Joy Bhadury, Associate Dean, Graduate Programs and Research for the Bryan School of Business and Economics, and Helen Hebert, Associate Vice Chancellor for University Relations
